Referred by fashion industry experts as a “Dallas Fashion Week” all wrapped up into one show, The Pin Show is one of the must-attend fashion events for DFW fashionistas year after year. Displaying the works and designs of emerging designers, The Pin Show features at times over 120 looks by more than 20 different designers. The Pin Show 2014 is already attracting mega attention and designers from all over are looking to be a part of this unique and spectacular event.

This luncheon, benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, is one that fashion-goers highly attend year after year—not only for great fashion but also to support a charitable cause. The luncheon includes a show of fashions from Stanley Korshak in a fashion show produced by none other than the fashion show guru herself, Jan Strimple. With a champagne reception also included in the price of attendance, this charity luncheon is always referred to as one of the best fashion and charity events in DFW for the year.

Sponsored by top fashion brands in the industry such as Diane von Furstenberg, Escada and Lela Rose, the Mad Hatter’s Tea is well worth the time and money. Attendees are encouraged to come decked out in their finest all while sporting a fun and individualized hat that will be later judged in a competition. Ticket purchases include a champagne reception, fashion presentation and seated lunch with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Dallas Arboretum.

The Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids (DIFFA) raises funds through a variety of events hosted throughout the year for organizations that help in the fight against AIDS. One of those events is the House of DIFFA fashion production which brings in the best designers and fashion experts for one night of high-energy theatrical and show-stopping fashion presentations to help raise funds for distribution by the DIFFA organization. While last year’s show was completely sold out, this year’s show promises to follow along the same path with its theme of a modernized Masquerade Ball. So come dressed in your best black tie attire, purchase a ticket before they sell out and come ready to be entertained at one of Dallas’ most anticipated fashion events for the year.

The Children’s Cancer Fund 26th Annual Luncheon is one of the most heartfelt and inspiring fashion events that will take place in DFW for 2014. The luncheon, while raising funds for children’s cancer research, allows children currently undergoing cancer treatment to grace the runway in fashions of their choosing from Dillard’s. The Honorary Co-Chairs for this event are Dallas celebrities Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach along with the 2014 Co-Chairs Tyler Kuelbs and Stacie Wells. With an auction, champagne reception, luncheon and fashion show included for the cost of attending the event, this annual luncheon is one that deserves your attendance and your support.
